Job description
We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join our fleet control team.
In this role you will help drive Navitec’s fleet control software forward by creating new features and improving the existing ones. You are working as a part of a product development team that will support you in the role, but you are also willing to take ownership of your work and to experiment completely new things.
As an ideal candidate you have already some years of professional programming experience in C# and a strong knowledge of software development. In the future, you will have the opportunity to take more responsibility and participate in interesting projects, such as commissioning a fleet control system at a customer site. Main responsibilities:
- Developing new features for the software
- Refactoring the existing codebase
- Participating in writing requirements and specifications for the new features
- Designing clear interfaces between the components
- Testing the software with real and simulated AGVs
- Helping our customer support in solving customer issues
Desired skills and experience:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in software development
- Good skills in C# and .NET
- Interest in AGVs, AMRs and logistics
- Good teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English

- Experience in software architecture and design
- Proficiency in other programming languages, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, C or C++
